Embark on an unforgettable 2-day safari that begins and ends in Arusha, taking you through some of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. This carefully curated itinerary offers an exceptional blend of game viewing and breathtaking landscapes.
Your journey includes a visit to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. You will also explore the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders, home to an abundance of wildlife within its unique crater ecosystem.
Day by Day Safari Itinerary
DAY 01: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After a hearty breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famously known as the “Land of Giants” because of its impressive elephant herds. As we explore the vast savannahs and iconic baobab landscapes, you’ll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species.
Around midday, we’ll enjoy a packed lunch in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to your lodge in Karatu, where you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay. Meal plans: Full Board

DAY 02: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA
After breakfast at the lodge, depart with a packed lunch and prepare to descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural amphitheater and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor offers unparalleled wildlife viewing, with large populations of elephants, zebras, buffalo, hyenas, hippos, wildebeest, and a high concentration of lions. It’s also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, surrounded by spectacular views, before continuing to explore this remarkable ecosystem throughout the afternoon. After your crater tour and picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha.
