Your journey includes a visit to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. You will also explore the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders, home to an abundance of wildlife within its unique crater ecosystem.
In addition to thrilling game drives, the safari features a cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu, where you will experience local traditions, farming practices, and authentic Tanzanian village life.

Day by Day Safari Itinerary
DAY 01: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After a hearty breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from the hotel for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famously known as the “Land of Giants” because of its impressive elephant herds. As we explore the vast savannahs and iconic baobab landscapes, you’ll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species.
Around midday, we’ll enjoy a packed lunch in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to your lodge in Karatu, where you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay. Meal plans: Full Board

DAY 02: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast at the lodge, depart with a packed lunch and prepare to descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural amphitheater and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor offers unparalleled wildlife viewing, with large populations of elephants, zebras, buffalo, hyenas, hippos, wildebeest, and a high concentration of lions. It’s also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, surrounded by spectacular views, before continuing to explore this remarkable ecosystem throughout the afternoon. Meals Plan: Full Board

DAY 03: CULTURAL EXPERIENCE IN MTO WA MBU & DEPARTURE
After breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for a cultural excursion in Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant village renowned for its cultural diversity and lush landscapes. Upon arrival, you may choose between a guided cycling village tour or a tuk-tuk ride, both offering an immersive way to explore the local community. During the tour, you will visit picturesque rice plantations, walk through banana farms, and explore the local market where fresh produce and traditional goods are sold. You will also have the opportunity to see the famous Tinga Tinga art style and observe skilled artisans at work in the wood-carving workshops. After several enriching hours discovering village life and interacting with the local community, you will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local flavors. In the afternoon, you will begin your drive back to Arusha or airport for your onward flight, carrying with your unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s breathtaking landscapes, remarkable wildlife, and warm hospitality.
